About Wod Review

Scott Krager

WODReview.com owner

Welcome to WODReview.com! I’m Scott, the newest owner of WODReview as of 2022. I’ve been doing CrossFit for about 5 years now, starting in my early 30’s. I’ve aged, but I’ve been able to get stronger than I was in my 20’s thanks for CrossFit!

You don’t really need any gear, or much equipment at all to be successful in fitness, but many CrossFit specific movements require heavy things (dumbells, barbells, etc) or unique equipment (rowers, air bikes, pull up bars). So, I hope I can be helpful with this site if you are looking to purchase some the high quality CrossFit specific gear out there!

Hey! Thanks for being here.

My name is Julien Raby and I’m the owner of Wod Review. Here’s my background on LinkedIn if you want more info.

I’ve been active pretty much my whole life and I discovered Crossfit about 5 years ago. I want to help you improve your Crossfit performances by giving tips on specific movements, workouts and equipment.

I recently did a competition where I linked 7 bar muscle ups which was a PR for me 🙂

I attended Springfield College in Springfield, MA and graduated with a B.S. degree in Movement and Sports Studies. My high school PE teacher inspired me to become a teacher. His guidance helped me lose over 60lbs and go from running a 14:30/mile as a freshman to a 5:35/mile as a senior.

I started blogging in 2010, when my best friend and I began writing daily recaps of our workouts on Blogger while we trained for CrossFit, ultra-marathons and powerlifting competitions. I documented 520 training sessions over a span of 2.5 years. I didn’t know it at the time, but my blog had a decent following. Each recap averaged about 150 clicks a day from fitness communities worldwide. This nightly ritual of documenting my training helped me develop a passion for writing.
