Managing and Editing Workouts on the Apple Watch
Managing and editing your workouts on the Apple Watch is a process that allows you to personalize your fitness tracking based on your exercise routine. Below is a step by step guide on how to go about it:
- If you're engaging in a workout that involves sports you can easily switch between the types of workouts you've added. Simply swipe right. Tap on the workout you desire.
- To rearrange metrics according to your preference, in the 'Edit' mode simply drag the three lines next to each metric up or down.
When it comes to editing completed workouts follow these steps:
- Open the Activity App on your iPhone;
Look for the 'Activity' app, which displays your activity rings.
- Select the Workout;
Navigate to the 'Workouts tab and locate the workout you wish to edit. Tap on it.
- Edit the Workout;
In the corner tap on either '...' or 'Edit'.
From there you can make adjustments to both the start and end times of your workout if you forgot to do so on your watch.
Please note that as of now Apple does not support editing workout types after completing a workout.
If you accidentally choose the type of workout you'll need to delete it and manually add it again with the type.
