Things to consider before buying a Pull Up Bar

Pull Up Bars are a piece of simple and effective exercise equipment that effectively help you train your whole body at the comforts of your home.

It can strengthen your chest, arms, back, core, and abs. It is generally considered the best way to build a strong body if you cannot go to the gym as you can work on your whole body.

The biggest advantage is that it can be placed almost anywhere and that’s why it’s perfect for all types of individuals.

Rogue Fitness P-4 Mounting Surface & Weight Capacity

Most wall mounted pull up bars can be mounted to any type of wall including wood, cement, or brick. We do not recommend wooden studs as the bolts can fling off easily.

The last thing you want is for your wall mounted pull up bar to fall off the wall mid-exercise. This can lead to severe damage to both yourself and your wall.

Make sure the wall is mounted properly and can carry the pull up bar’s weight capacity.

The Rogue Fitness P-4 Pull-Up System can handle over 500 lbs weight capacity. It recommends the setup of the distance between brackets for concrete being 36 inches or Wood Studs being at 32 inches or 48 inches.

Rogue Fitness P-4 Grips and Versatility

Holding a pull up bar shouldn’t be a chore. You should risk slipping or falling when you’re performing your exercises. That’s why you will want to see if the pull up bar has a feature that improves your grip.

Yoga straps or other foam grips can be attached to improve grip. Rings and bands can help assist exercises.

If you plan to use other attachments, make sure to check the weight limit, stability in all directions, mounting anchor hooks available for boxing bags, cable pulleys, suspension trainers, and long lever arms that provide you enough space away from the way.

Rogue Fitness does not come with addons or grips. However, it is wide enough and has long lever arms to support multiple accessories and exercises.

Rogue Fitness P-4 Comfort and Quality

As you will be supporting your entire body with your hands, make sure the pull up bar is comfortable. Make sure it has a high weight capacity as this is a big indicator of the quality of the bar and the material used to make it.

Find pull-up bars that support the hand to prevent hand cramps and slippages during long and lengthy workouts.

Why You Should Consider The Rogue Fitness P-4 Pull Up Bar

Improved Body Stability

Grip Strength and Core Strength are very important to your every day life.

Grip strength is needed to lift things, hold things, and throw things. It is used to hold a ledge if you slip or open that pickle jar. Grip strength is increased when performing pull ups as you are pulling up all your weight. Your hands must be able to support all that weight, resulting in your forearms getting stronger and bigger.

Core Strength is needed for body stability. Without core strength, you would not be able to move as fluid as you do. Your core connects your whole body together and that’s used when you’re performing pull ups on the pull up bar. It stops your body from swaying and moving side to side.

Fixes Your Posture

Pull Ups build your back muscles which are crucial for posture. Weak back muscles lead to back pain because the bones are taking the force of gravity instead of your muscles.

With bigger back muscles, you will have better posture as you can hold yourself up more easily. That is why you see individuals with weak back muscles that slouch over often having back issues in their later years.

Great Assistance for Functional Strength

As a human, you are always performing a different range of movements on a daily basis. This includes pushing, pulling, twisting, standing, walking, and turning.

Pull Ups are dynamic compound exercises that work on your whole both, strengthening your relationship between your muscular system and nervous system. This reduces your chances of injuries and diseases in terms of the nerves in your later years of life.

Weight Loss and Fat Burner

Performing pull ups can help you lose weight. They will not burn as much calories as doing cardio or cycling, but it will tone your muscles more. If you want to step up the intensity to burn more of your fat and calories, you can always do more sets, reps, perform the reps faster, or have less rest between sets.

As you increase your intensity, you will get your heart pumping and boost your overall metabolism. This will force your body to consume more energy thus contributing to fat loss and a lean body.

The Rogue Fitness P-4 Pull Up System is convenient where you can perform pull ups any time of the day at the comfort of your home. The system allows you to make it easy to lose weight, burn fat and get the body that you’ve always desired.

Convenience

Pull up is one of the most convenient exercises that you can perform. All you need is a solid bar and two arms to do them.

You gain the physique that you’ve always wanted, the defined back, biceps, core, and smaller V shape waist can be shaped to your body by performing pull ups on The Rogue Fitness P-4 Pull Up Bar

Exercise Versatility

Having a Pull Up Bar doesn’t limit the exercises to only a pull up. With The Rogue Fitness P-4 Pull Up Bar, you’re able to perform exercises including Hanging Leg Raises, Muscle Up, and hanging Scapular Retractions.

Pull Up Bars provide you a complete full body workout in the comforts of your own home.

The FAQs

Is Rogue Fitness A Good BrandDo Pull Up Bars Cause Wall Damage? Is Rogue Fitness A Good Brand

Rogue is known for its quality strength training, strongman, and gymnastic equipment.
With an excellent reputation for their customer service, they are always looking to leave you completely satisfied with all your purchases with them.

Do Pull Up Bars Cause Wall Damage?

Pull Up Bars does not cause wall damage if you install them correctly. It could cause damage while you are drilling holes into your wall but that is rare.
This is because high quality wall mounted pull up bars such as Rogue’s P-4 Pull Up bar System are built exclusively to maintain your wall’s integrity, look, and structure.
Make sure to follow the instruction manual so you avoid improper installation. Do not load more than the weight capacity or it may rip out of your wall resulting in a busted drywall and a busted backside.

How High Should I Mount My Pull Up Bar?

Height is a big part of a pull up. You want the bar to be high enough so you can get all the way down to the bottom with your legs for one rep. You also want the bar to be low enough to reach without much help.
To mount your pull up bar we recommend:
First choose the wall you want your pull up bar to be mounted on.
Extend your hands straight above your head while you stand against your wall.
Mark about three to four inches above your finger tips as this will be your sweet spot.
You can add a few more inches on top as you can jump or tippy toes to reach the pull up bar.
Also, keep in mind the space above the bar. If you are performing more than a pull up, such as a muscle up, you may need more room as half of your body will be above the bar.
We recommend using a vaulted ceiling area or garage walls for mounting a wall mounted pull up bar.

Can I Mount My Pull Up Bar Outside?

Yes, most pull up bar systems will allow you to be installed and mounted outside.
However, make sure the weather is good where it won’t deter you from performing your normal workout.
As it is outside, the pull up bar is consistently damaged by the environment. Wind, Cold, and Heat affect the durability of the bar. This may result in a shorter pull up bar lifespan.
